Thane’s Redemption (March 2015), the first installment in Nina Crespo’s Song series, is a powerful and heated start to what I expect will be a much loved series. The tag line in the summary says it all, “The one night she’ll want to remember, she’ll be forced to forget.” It’s both a sad thought and one that makes you so curious you can’t help but want to know more.

After Celine loses her fiancé she has a difficult time moving forward with her life. But fate has a plan for her. She meets Thane, the sexy lead singer of Thane’s Redemption, and everything changes in the blink of an eye. The night of heated passion they share is unexpected and something Thane has a difficult time dealing with. Why? Thane’s a time traveler that has to focus his attention on saving the world. Every time he travels through time the people he interacts with forget him; he knows this will happen to Celine.

Crespo’s tale of second chances at love in Thane’s Redemption is one hundred percent fulfilling. The connection that Thane and Celine share is powerful and their longing for one another against all odds pulls at the emotional heartstrings. Thane’s past sets him up as a hero you want to cheer for. He deserves a happily ever after ending. Crespo gives readers so many reasons to keep reading and when the final page is read you want more. That’s just what a reader wants in a first installment.

I look forward to devouring the next installment in the Song series. Readers that enjoy a powerful, touching romance will find Celine and Thane’s story a worthwhile read.
